A mother's kitchen. A family's dream.
Home Spice Tiffin was born in 2021 from a simple belief: everyone deserves a fresh, home-cooked meal every day — even when life is too busy to cook.
Our founder, a passionate home cook from Sodnac, noticed that working families in Mauritius were struggling to find healthy, affordable, genuinely homemade food. Restaurant food felt impersonal. Frozen meals lacked soul. So she started cooking — just for 10 neighbors.
Word spread through WhatsApp groups and family circles. Within a year, 100 families were ordering. Within two years, 500. Today, we deliver over 1,000 fresh meals every day across Mauritius — and every single one is made from scratch, with love, in our kitchen.
The prantha still uses the same recipe. The dal still simmers for the same 4 hours. And every meal is still packed by hand with care. We've scaled the kitchen, but never the heart.
